The Technical Supervisor, Distribution Engineering, acts as a focused extension of the Department Manager for an assigned subset of the distribution engineering department. The role provides day-to-day leadership for the technical excellence, quality, consistency, and professional engineering accountability of the team, while also supporting workload oversight, staff development, performance engagement, and administrative coordination for the sub-discipline. This position helps ensure team members have the technical direction, coaching, resources, and accountability needed to deliver work safely, accurately, and in alignment with client, regulatory, and company expectations.
The role works in partnership with the Client Supervisor position as part of a purposeful leadership structure supporting the Department Manager. While this position is primarily focused on technical leadership, people support, capability development, and engineering quality within the team, it also provides practical support to project execution, client-related technical matters, continuous improvement, and safe delivery practices across the department.
