The Finished Vehicle Distribution department is responsible for the movement of new Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles to retailers and customers in over 100 markets worldwide. We organise, manage and monitor the movement of every vehicle produced globally. This ensures that delivery takes place in a timely and efficient manner, whilst maintaining the highest build quality levels possible. Managing our operations and supplier base, as well as developing our current and future distribution strategy, are key to delivering a Customer First service to our markets, retailers and customers worldwide. Your contribution will help manage our existing operations, whilst transforming and developing solutions for the future.


As a Finished Vehicle Distribution Analyst, you will be responsible for transforming data usage, driving analytics, automation and improving strategic decision-making across operational functions. You will be a key player in the Finished Vehicle Distribution department, collaborating with stakeholders to build scalable analytical solutions, uncover inefficiencies, and drive measurable improvements across the department. You will be a self-starter who is able to demonstrate initiative and work independently when required.

  • Support process transformation projects, defining business requirements, developing process maps and creating solutions.
  • Work towards becoming an SME of our current-state systems, processes and data landscape.
  • Develop & maintain departmental operational and KPI dashboards using Tableau.
  • Help develop and drive Finished Vehicle Distribution’s strategic digital vision through understanding of industry trends and innovations.
  • Analyse large datasets using SQL and Google BigQuery to identify trends, risks and opportunities.


WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Strong IT and technological background required.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience working with large volumes of complex data.
  • Be able to work independently, manage priorities, identify issues and solutions using own initiative, coupled with a desire to make a difference and tenacity to achieve results.
  • Demonstrate drive, a creative flair with a customer focussed approach and good organisational skills and have the ability to multi-task; manage changing priorities whilst maintaining focus.
  • Be a strong team player who is prepared to bring a flexible approach to the role.
