1st Shift Monday - Friday 6:30-15:00

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:

Under the direction of the OS/ Training Team Manager and Crew Leader, the incumbent will be responsible for performing a variety of duties to support the Logistics Center Operation. Responsibilities include coordinating shipments and deliveries to be picked and shipped based on appointment times. The transfer of raw materials and finished goods between McCormick facilities, processing Material Stock Orders, arranging for past shelf life and defective material removal from inventory and disposal, performing non-inventory/back flush counts, and resolving PO receipt discrepancies. Other duties include tracking and reporting pallet and tote utilization, ordering warehouse supplies, leading Warehouse Small Team Activities (STA’s) in support of process improvement initiatives and generating and posting department key performance indicators (KPI’s). This position will require flexibility with shift and workday assignments to support business need requirements. This position will require cross training on all shipping office positions and be a backup crew leader on weekend rotation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Consistently “Meets Standards” for attendance on annual performance review and overall performance in most recent performance review.
  2. Minimum of 2 years of Warehousing experience required and 2 years of shipping/Receiving experience preferred.
  3. Demonstrated ability to read, navigate and interpret multiple computerized data collection, data entry and inventory control systems and SAP Warehouse Management knowledge strongly preferred.
  4. Ability to perform basic math functions required.
  5. Results-focused with ability to self-motivate and work under limited supervision required.
  6. Demonstrated experience working effectively and accurately in a high volume, fast paced environment required.
  7. Demonstrated ability to communicate and build relationships in a diverse team-based environment required.
  8. Demonstrated ability to use logical thinking and independent judgment to solve problems required.
  9. Excellent time management and organizational skills required.
  10. The candidate must be self-directed and be able to work as part of a high performing team environment.
  11. Candidate must have the ability to lead a team to successfully meet schedule attainment.
