The Strategic Project Portfolio Construction Coordinator position at GPC is a critical role responsible for overseeing both overhead and underground utility construction.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include (but not limited to): Coordinating contract resources to ensure that the SPP Achieves Safety Excellence, budgetary needs, productivity, schedules, customer satisfaction and Reliability goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for circuit strategy, attending pre-construction meetings, quality control, and final walkdowns of assigned projects. To be effective in this position, the incumbent must work well with and communicate with Engineering, internal and external customers, Stakeholder Engagement, Forestry, Land Acquisition, Claims, etc. This job will require an alternate work schedule to accomplish the listed responsibilities. This person will have to communicate well and work closely with our Region Partners to maintain a reliable system during construction of SPP projects. The SPP Coordinator will also work closely with region leadership to support their storm restoration plans
