The Opportunity:
As Distribution Centre Team Leader you will be responsible for managing workflow and supervising work output in our Inbound department. The distribution centre supports the organisation through the receipt, storage, and controlled movement of goods, with this Team Leader position having primary focus on inbound warehousing activities. Key objectives are to ensure timely intake, accurate processing, and cost-effective management of incoming inventory.
Your Skills, Experience, and Attributes:
Team leadership experience working in the warehouse environment, with a history in staff development.
Previous experience in inventory control process management, working with WMS software, RF Scanning and other technologies
Experience working in Inbound departments and high volume environments with stringent compliance requirements
Highly motivated with the ability to gain respect from your team, and analyse and problem solve effectively
A commitment to customer service and strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail to ensuring all procedures and deadlines are met accurately, and on time
Excellent computer skills i.e. MS Office (Word and Excel), and Outlook email software
Certificate III in Warehousing (preferred)
Positive and reliable and enjoys working as part of a large team
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
