Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop warehouse employees to achieve operational goals and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory control, order processing, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Establish and monitor operational metrics to drive performance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, ISO, company policies, and all safety regulations.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and training programs that support operational excellence.
  • Analyze warehouse processes and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost reductions.
  • Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counting, inventory controls, and warehouse management systems.
  • Collaborate with Operations leadership on facility layout, product flow, and warehouse optimization initiatives.
  • Develop and manage departmental operating and capital budgets.
  • Maintain strong relationships with transportation providers, customer service, sales, scheduling, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.
  • Oversee disposition of damaged, expired, recalled, and returned inventory.
  • Serve as a project leader during warehouse management system implementations or upgrades.

Qualifications

Required

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management and warehouse operations.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and employee engagement skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed operational decisions.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with Oracle WMS or other warehouse management systems.
  • Experience with Power BI, advanced Excel, or business analytics tools.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience working in ISO 9001 environments.
