POSITION TITLE DISTRIBUTION CENTER SUPERVISOR

Nestlé is looking for a Distribution Center Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse and distribution operations, ensuring products are delivered safely, accurately, and efficiently while meeting service, cost, quality, and safety objectives.

In this role, you will lead operational activities, optimize warehouse resources, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborate with internal stakeholders and logistics partners to support business performance and customer satisfaction.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

As a Distribution Center Supervisor, you will:

  • Lead day-to-day warehouse operations to achieve customer service, productivity, cost, inventory accuracy, sustainability and operational performance targets.
  • Monitor key operational KPIs and implement corrective actions to continuously improve service levels, efficiency, and warehouse performance.
  • Optimize the utilization of warehouse resources, including manpower, equipment, facilities, and third-party logistics services.
  • Ensure compliance with Nestlé standards and regulatory requirements related to safety, health, environment, quality, and security.
  • Support inventory control activities to maintain stock accuracy, product freshness, and minimize losses, damage, and waste.
  • Oversee value-added warehousing activities, including co-packing, stock management, product disposal processes, and 5S initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement and cost optimization initiatives, including budget monitoring and operational review processes.
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Service, Transportation, Demand & Supply Planning, Manufacturing/ Production, Sales, Finance and external logistics partners to ensure smooth warehouse and distribution operations.
  • Develop team capability through coaching, training, engagement, and performance management while fostering a culture of safety and operational excellence

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, distribution, or supply chain operations. Experience in leading teams or coordinating warehouse activities is preferred.
  • Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or logistics environments would be an advantage.
  • Solid understanding of warehousing, inventory management, logistics, and distribution processes.
  • Experience managing operational KPIs, productivity, cost performance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of safety, health, environmental, quality, and security standards within warehouse operations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across functions and external partners.
