Job Description

CITITRENDS is seeking a Loss Prevention Associate to be responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and controlled environment within the Distribution Center. This position serves as the first point of contact for visitors, contractors, and associates entering the facility while supporting daily security operations, access control procedures, CCTV monitoring, and loss prevention initiatives. The role helps protect company assets, associates, and visitors through proactive security practices and adherence to company policies. This role supports the Distribution Center Loss Prevention team and facility leadership in maintaining a secure workplace environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to the Distribution Center
• Verify associate badges and credentials upon entry and exit.
• Issue temporary visitor and contractor badges as needed.
• Ensure all visitors and employees comply with facility access requirements.
• Monitor associate / visitor entrances throughout the shift.
• Conduct routine security patrols of the facility and parking areas as requested.
• Report suspicious activity, safety concerns, or security violations.
• Greet visitors, vendors, contractors, and business partners.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs and documentation.
• Notify facility hosts upon visitor arrival.
• Ensure visitors have appropriate approvals and escorts when required.
• Monitor CCTV, access control systems, and alarm activity.
• Complete accurate reports in a timely manner.
• Support facility safety and emergency response procedures.
• Assist with evacuation drills and emergency preparedness activities.
• Track visitor records and badge inventory.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Strong oral and written communication skills

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience supporting Loss Prevention in a warehouse or distribution center environment
• Experience using and managing CCTV and alarm systems
• Working knowledge of LP Technologies and integration processes

Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk frequently around the distribution center or sit for extended periods of time. The employee must frequently use their hands to handle or feel objects and must be able to speak and hear clearly
• The employee may occasionally need to lift and/or move up to 25 Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, and depth perception
• The employee must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and on varying shifts
