The Role:

A Distribution and Content Partner Manager job description typically involves building and maintaining strong relationships with strategic content partners, ensuring efficient content delivery, and optimizing distribution channels. This role requires excellent communication, and analytical skills to drive business growth and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate is a proactive with strong industry relationships, and a passion for storytelling through creators and culture.

This position requires in-office attendance 5 days a week; our hours are 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages various workflows and client relationships.
    • Act as the primary post-sales liaison for clients, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships.
    • Understand client needs deeply to develop tailored solutions and enhance overall satisfaction.
    • Oversee all internal and external workflows related to content distribution, including AV asset delivery, artwork approvals, and marketing spot sign-offs.
    • Lead the management of client requests to ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality execution of deliverables.
    • Monitor project progress, track milestones, and report status to stakeholders to maintain transparency and accountability.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential content partners, including publishing, content creation, and distribution.
  • Facilitating communication between the company and its partners to ensure mutual understanding, alignment, and efficient collaboration.
  • Working closely with distribution partners to ensure timely and reliable delivery of content.
  • Developing and implementing comprehensive partnership strategies that drive business growth and market expansion.
  • Using data analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and potential improvements in partnership strategies.
  • Proactively identifying and evaluating potential new partners and partnerships that align with the company's strategic goals.
  • Adhering to industry regulations and guidelines for content distribution.
  • Partnering with other departments to stay aligned on current projects, ensuring the successful implementation of partnership initiatives.
  • Contributes constructive ideas during team meetings to better serve clients.
  • Handles sales support responsibilities from early engagement to managing deliverables.
    • Support the sales team by preparing detailed proposals, contracts, and presentations tailored to client needs.
    • Manage client communications, proactively addressing inquiries, requests, and feedback with professionalism and responsiveness.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in managing client relationships, preferably within media, content distribution, or a related industry.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex workflows simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive and solutions-driven mindset.
  • Experience with AV content delivery, artwork management, and marketing approvals preferred.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills; ability to juggle multiple high-profile initiatives at once.
