Industrial formulators deliver value by servicing high-value life-science and industrial specialty segments with high-performance ingredients used across diverse industrial applications. We elevate everyday outcomes through superior chemistry, that boosts application and process performance, supplying surfactants, chelates, and polymers to industrial customers and end-use markets including agrochemical; CASE raw materials (emulsion/polymer manufacturing, additive manufacturing, pigment dispersions); pulp and paper; water treatment; rubber/plastic; textile & leather; health, and contract/chemical processing manufacturing.
We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Distribution Account Manager - Industrial Formulators - to join our team. In this role, you will own and strengthen relationships with authorized distribution partners and drive profitable growth across indirect sales channels. You will be responsible for distributor growth strategies, performance management, commercial execution, forecasting, pricing alignment, inventory coordination, and portfolio growth. Working closely with distributor leadership, sales teams, and BASF’s commercial, marketing, supply chain, and technical organizations, you will ensure disciplined execution, strong BASF mindshare, and a consistent customer experience. This role will support sales of core BASF chemistries such as surfactants, polymers, methane sulfonic acid, and APGs.
This role is remote and can be located anywhere in the continental US, with proximity to a major airport as it requires frequent in-person visits to customers and BASF sites with an expectation of up to 50% overnight travel. Ideal candidate location would be East Coast or Midwest US.

BASF is committed to pay transparency practices. The competitive pay range for this role is $128,000 - $160,000. Actual pay will be determined based on education, certifications, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
