The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) is the official national Democratic campaign committee charged with electing Democrats to the U. S. House of Representatives. The DCCC recruits Democratic candidates and supports Democratic campaigns – both challengers and Democratic incumbent Members – with a variety of services including field operations, fundraising support, communications assistance, digital strategy, research support and management consulting. The DCCC is supported by the contributions of individuals and organizations, along with Democratic Members, from throughout the country. Due to the cyclic nature of our organization, all positions are subject to separation at the end of the election cycle.
The DCCC is hiring a Distributed Phones Coordinator for the 2026 election cycle. This person will implement, and coordinate the DCCC’s national distributed phones program, working closely with the National Distributed Director, Distributed Phones Manager, and other members of the Organizing Leadership Team. Ideal candidates for this position will be adaptive and creative organizers who are excited about doing something that hasn’t been done before.
This position is part of a collective bargaining unit.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the Distributed and Organizing teams to execute a creative and engaging phones program
- Build and manage the distributed phones program through developing and executing a strategy to achieve weekly goals for voter contact and volunteer management metrics
- Build and execute processes and structures to recruit, train, and manage teams of volunteer leaders to ensure volunteer phone callers have high quality conversations with both supporters and potential supporters
- Executes the phonebanking calendar, making sure phone campaigns are built and completed, iterating approaches to messaging and training to adapt to emerging needs
- Develop strong relationships with other departments as well as external partners; build internal and external systems and structures to support the organizing team
- Other duties as needed
- 1+ cycles of organizing experience or distributed phone volunteer management experience is preferred
- Comfortability with predictive dialer technology, OpenVPB, and VoteBuilder is preferred but not required
- Experience recruiting, training, and managing volunteers is strongly preferred but not required
- Experience executing volunteer training virtually and using digital tools to manage a volunteer network is preferred but not required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
