
Dispute and Chargeback Analyst

What You’ll Do:
Investigate and resolve credit card disputes in accordance with Reg Z and internal policies.
Manage AMEX chargeback processing, including analyzing transactions, preparing representments, and responding to chargeback inquiries.
Review transaction histories, merchant documentation, and customer statements to determine validity of claims.
Maintain accurate records of dispute cases and ensure timely reporting to meet regulatory and client requirements.
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Fraud, Risk, Operations) to escalate complex disputes and mitigate financial loss.
Ensure compliance with relevant banking and card network regulations.
Provide insights and recommendations to improve dispute resolution processes.
Monitor trends in disputes and chargebacks, highlighting potential areas of risk.
What We’re Looking For:
2–3 years of experience in Reg Z disputes investigations and AMEX chargeback processing
Strong understanding of credit card networks, dispute lifecycle, and chargeback regulations
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with dispute/chargeback management tools is a plus.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
