The role | Te tūnga
As a Disposal Regulation Specialist, you will support the development and implementation of an effective disposal and appraisal framework across government. Your work will help agencies create, manage, and responsibly dispose of their records, whether physical or born-digital, ensuring they can meet operational needs while maintaining accountability and transparency.
You will provide advice and guidance across government, contribute to continuous improvement in information management practices, and work collaboratively with agencies to strengthen frameworks and regulatory systems. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on how public information is managed and preserved in New Zealand.
