Join Apple as an intern and help us leave the world better than we found it!We are looking for a SQE Intern (Supply Quality Engineer) to support quality activities from development through mass production. In this internship, as a display SQE intern, you will learn and collaborate with senior engineers to drive technical direction and deliver scalable, high-quality display solutions for award-winning Apple products.

In this internship role, you will assist in quality system and tool development across New Product Introduction (NPI) and supplier execution phases. You will participate in evaluating new product designs and process specifications to ensure process capability, alignment with yield targets, and seamless scalability to mass production. Working alongside cross-functional engineering teams and key suppliers, you will contribute to failure analysis,corrective action implementation, and yield bridge strategies. Additionally, you will support reviews of supplier quality control plans, reliability testing,and in-process controls to prevent system interaction issues. You will collaborate with supplier technical teams to track Critical to Quality (CTQ) parameters, evaluate production readiness, and monitor yield loss across manufacturing nodes during production ramp.

Preferred Qualifications

Academic research or coursework in display technologies, such as LCD, OLED, micro OLED, or micro LED front-end or back-end processes.
Hands-on project, lab, or internship experience in development, process engineering, testing, or quality background within display, semiconductor, or electronics domains.
Demonstrated capability or coursework to plan DOEs, analyze in-process data, perform failure analysis (across EE, Optical, Mechanical, or Panel domains), and identify yield/quality improvement pathways.
Interest in researching and certifying new materials, and learning/developing quality tools and testing methods.
Self-starter mindset and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Ability to travel up to 50% as required by program needs.

Minimum Qualifications

Currently enrolled in an MS or PhD program (or advanced BS) in Engineering,Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
Academic or internship background with exposure to manufacturing, engineering, or operations principles.
Familiarity with data analysis, programming languages (Python, R, or SQL), and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Foundational coursework or knowledge of Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning and Data Science concepts.
