• Services delivered in store: Located within a busy shopping centre, Boots Opticians Welwyn Garden City serves a varied and diverse patient demographic, providing a mix of NHS and private optical services. The store continues to invest in its clinical offering, with both OCT and Optomap technology arriving soon, further enhancing the patient experience and clinical capabilities of the practice.
• Team structure: You will join a large, experienced team of around 20 colleagues who are passionate about delivering excellent patient care. The store has a supportive and collaborative culture, making it an ideal environment for both experienced Dispensing Opticians and those looking to continue developing their career within a well-established team.

This full-time role offers an excellent work-life balance, with alternate Saturday working and no Sunday requirement. Store opening hours are 9:00am–5:30pm, providing a consistent and predictable working pattern.

The store is conveniently located with discounted parking available nearby at approximately £2.50 per day and excellent public transport links. Welwyn Garden City train station is just a short walk away, with direct services to London taking around 20 minutes.
