Join our Dispensary Team in Dumfries. This role is working Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 5:00pm and 9:00am - 5:00pm on a Friday.

The position of Dispensary Operations Assistant covers all jobs and work in the warehouse relating to the receipt, locating, replenishing, counting, picking, checking, packing and dispatching of goods and setting up of new products. The accurate and timely processing of customer sales orders and returns. Investigating any variances where necessary.

Working with our direct dispense business unit, our Dispensary Operations Assistants are integral to the fulfilment of Direct to Consumer Pharmacy. Our team support fulfilling prescriptions on behalf of our customers, directly to their customers. You will join a growing business unit, supporting multiple customers – across multiple species types.

About you

• The ability to work as a team member within the group and to co-operate with other departments is a necessary requirement for this position.
• Flexibility of working hours and the ability to work overtime when required are essential.
• Experience working within a warehouse environment and the normal processes involved within this would be desirable
• Good attention to detail

Education

• Basic literacy and numeracy are essential for covering the core duties of the role. Open to gaining further education by completion of SQP training if required.
• Good level of computer literacy (Microsoft Excel and email). Working knowledge of Wholesale ERP system is desirable, but full training will be given.
