Dispatcher (full time)

This position ensures the correct mix of resources (driver, equipment, safety, etc.) for the efficient delivery of product, maximizing assets, while minimizing distribution costs.

What you will enjoy doing*

• In this role, you'll be responsible for planning and managing daily delivery routes, making sure our products get to customers as efficiently and effectively as possible
• You'll help prioritize new customer set-ups, urgent requests, and emergency deliveries, balancing changing business needs throughout the day
• There will be regular interaction with customers, coordinating alternative delivery dates when needed and helping drivers troubleshoot issues they encounter in the field
• You'll play an important role in managing distribution costs by identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and optimize delivery operations
• Safety is a key focus, and you'll help reinforce safe work practices and support our overall safety culture
• You'll work closely with our Packaged Gas Service Representatives (drivers) and Customer Service team to ensure customers receive their deliveries safely, on time, and with a high level of service
• Part of the role involves reviewing regulatory and compliance documentation, including TDG paperwork, vehicle inspection reports, hours-of-service records, and quality assurance documents to ensure everything is accurate and up to date
• Strong computer skills are helpful, particularly experience with Microsoft Office 365, Excel, and Word, as these tools are used regularly in the role
• This is a hands-on position, so when needed, you'll step in to assist with deliveries during staffing shortages and help support warehouse operations
• Overall, the role is a mix of logistics coordination, customer service, compliance, and operational support, making it a great fit for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment where no two days are exactly the same

This is an existing position with a starting annual salary of $60,000
