Astar Heating and Air Conditioning is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Dispatcher who knows how to keep a busy service operation organized, communicate clearly with customers and technicians, and help make sure every customer gets the service they need.

What You’ll Do

• Schedule and dispatch service calls efficiently based on customer needs and technician availability
• Communicate with customers to schedule appointments and provide updates
• Coordinate daily schedules and routes for field technicians
• Monitor technician schedules and make adjustments throughout the day as needed
• Communicate with technicians regarding job details, customer needs and schedule changes
• Handle customer questions and concerns professionally and promptly
• Help prioritize emergency and time-sensitive service calls
• Keep customers informed about technician arrival times and appointment changes
• Maintain accurate customer and job information in the company’s systems
• Work closely with the service and management teams to keep operations running smoothly
• Identify scheduling conflicts and find solutions quickly
• Provide a positive customer experience from the initial call through completion of the service
• Maintain a professional, helpful and solution-focused attitude in a fast-paced environment

What We’re Looking For

• Previous dispatch, scheduling, customer service or home services experience preferred
• HVAC, plumbing or other home services industry experience is a plus
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable handling multiple phone calls, technicians and customer needs at the same time
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
• Comfortable using computers and learning scheduling and dispatch software
• Dependable, professional and ready to be part of a team
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work effectively with both customers and field technicians
