As part of the Lockwood Group, William West & Sons is looking for an organised, customer-focused and proactive Dispatch Office Coordinator to join our busy Transport team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment and enjoys working with drivers, customers and operational teams to keep transport running efficiently. You'll play a vital role in ensuring our daily transport operation runs smoothly, providing real-time support to drivers, maintaining operational systems and delivering excellent customer service.
No two days are the same, so we're looking for someone who enjoys problem solving, communicating with people and working as part of a supportive team.
Location: Lows Lane, Ilkeston (with flexibility to work from other depots when required)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 2:00pm – 10:00pm (40 hours per week)
Salary: £28,000 per annum
Key responsibilities as Dispatch Office Coordinator:
You'll ideally have experience in transport, logistics, administration or customer service and enjoy working in a busy operational environment.

Established in 1965, frozen food business Lockwoods Ltd purchased a number of vehicles to deliver it’s frozen mushy peas. As refrigerated vehicles were a relatively new idea at the time and the peas required chilled deliveries this meant that deliveries were only made during the winter months during the cold weather.
