Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL (On-Site)
Salary: up to $95,000 per year

Schedule: 24/7/365 operation (nights, weekends, holidays required)

Dispatch is the nerve center of our operation, and strong leadership is essential.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Dispatch Manager to lead, build, and strengthen our dispatch team. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring real-time decision-making, strong people leadership, and a data-driven approach. The Dispatch Manager is accountable for team performance, service delivery, and operational continuity in a high-expectation environment with little tolerance for excuses.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and manage dispatch operations in a 24/7/365 environment
• Build, develop, and retain a high-performing dispatch team
• Create and manage schedules for a staff of 10–15 dispatchers, ensuring coverage across all shifts
• Coach, train, and hold dispatch staff accountable to performance and safety standards
• Anticipate operational issues and implement solutions in real time
• Monitor schedules, manifests, and service levels to ensure on-time execution
• Analyze operational data and trends to improve efficiency and performance
• Partner with Operations, Station Leadership, and HR on staffing, hiring, and onboarding
• Support recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding of dispatch team members
• Maintain compliance with company policies and safety procedures
• Drive continuous improvement in dispatch processes and team performance
  

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of dispatch experience in transportation, logistics, aviation support, or a related field
• 3+ years of management experience in dispatch or a closely related operational environment
• Proven experience building schedules for teams of 10–15 employees across multiple shifts
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams in a fast-paced, operational environment
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decisions
• Comfortable working nights, weekends, and holidays in a 24/7 operation
• Direct, accountable leadership style with clear expectations
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
