Our client, a well-established distributor and retailer of consumer electronics and home appliances with a strong regional presence, is looking for a
Fulfillment Officer
to join their warehouse team in Ruiru.

This role is critical in ensuring the accurate, efficient, and timely fulfillment of customer orders across both retail and e-commerce channels. The ideal candidate will bring strong operational leadership, a hands-on approach to process improvement, and the ability to lead high-performing warehouse teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Outbound Operations Management

• 
  Oversee daily outbound processes: order waving, picking, staging, loading, and dispatch.

• 
  Ensure daily targets are met in line with SLAs and customer expectations.

2. Order Waving & Picking

• 
  Plan order processing based on delivery schedules and resource availability.

• 
  Generate work orders and supervise picking activities, resolving stock or system discrepancies.

• 
  Monitor and analyze picking data for continuous improvement.

3. Staging & Dispatch Preparation

• 
  Organize staging areas and verify order accuracy before loading.

• 
  Maintain logical order flow and space utilization.

4. Loading & Dispatch Execution

• 
  Supervise safe, accurate loading of goods.

• 
  Confirm dispatch readiness through documentation and manifest checks.

• 
  Ensure timely departure and handle dispatch-related queries.

5. Team Supervision & Development

• 
  Lead outbound supervisors, pickers, and loaders.

• 
  Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and provide coaching and feedback.

6. Performance & Process Optimization

• 
  Track KPIs such as OTIF, order accuracy, and dispatch timelines.

• 
  Recommend improvements to boost fulfillment efficiency.

7. Health, Safety & Compliance

• 
  Enforce warehouse safety standards and adherence to internal policies.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• 
  Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred.

• 
  At least 5 years experience in warehouse order fulfillment operations.

• 
  Strong working knowledge of WMS systems.

• 
  Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

• 
  Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• 
  Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
