The company offers the opportunity to those who wish to express interest in the position of " Dispatch Engineer - OP' | Μηχανικός Συντονισμού - Ανοιχτής Εξόρυξης", for its premises in Chalkidiki. The position will report to the Dispatch Operations Manager of the Open Pit Mining Operations Department, based in Skouries.

Main Responsibilities:

• Development and implementation of dispatch plans and schedules for mining operations.
• Coordination of the movement and allocation of equipment, materials, and personnel with site departments to achieve production targets.
• Monitoring of real-time dispatch activities and adjustment of plans as required to optimize operational efficiency.
• Utilization of dispatch software and operational systems to monitor equipment performance, analyze operational data, identify improvement opportunities, and prepare dispatch and production reports.
• Communication with supervisors, operators, and other stakeholders, including the provision of clear instructions and operational updates to field personnel.
• Coordination with maintenance teams regarding equipment repairs and maintenance activities to maximize equipment availability.
• Compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and dispatch procedures, including the conduct of safety checks and support of risk assessment activities.
• Promotion of a strong safety culture and adherence to established safety procedures.
• Identification and implementation of process improvements and best practices to enhance dispatch efficiency and effectiveness.
• Participation in meetings and workshops to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitoring of industry trends, technological developments, and best practices in dispatch systems and mining operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in mining operations, production, logistics or transportation.
• Previous experience in dispatch or coordination roles considered an advantage.
• Hands-on experience with dispatch systems and mining operational environments.
• Knowledge of mining operations, production equipment and safety regulations/best practices.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with ability to motivate and manage a diverse workforce.
• Excellent communication skills, with ability to interact effectively across all organizational levels (verbal and written).
• Strong organizational, time management and multitasking abilities, with capacity to prioritize competing demands.
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with team members and stakeholders.
• Strong conflict resolution, negotiation, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with continuous learning mindset.
• Proficiency in dispatch software and systems (e.g., Mining Art, Modular Mining, MineStar, Jigsaw, Wenco or similar).
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing work conditions, roles, shifts and priorities, with ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Rotating shifts (24/7) under labor legislation framework.
