Job Description

• Source carrier capacity through cold calling, outreach, and relationship development.
• Optimize load assignments using historical data, market insights, and carrier performance scorecards.
• Manage inbound and outbound communication with carriers to ensure timely updates and issue resolution.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve operational and audit-related issues.
• Build and maintain strong carrier relationships, supporting efforts to grow dedicated carrier partnerships.
• Support load coverage through effective planning, coordination, and execution.
• Assist with order payables, costing analysis, and monitoring market trends.
• Proactively support the broader carrier operations team to ensure efficient and reliable transportation performance.
• Additional duties, assigned to support business needs.

Required Qualifications – Required qualifications to effectively perform the job. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered. (Additional requirements may be designated by position.)

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in business or a related field is a plus.
• 1-3 years of previous experience dispatching, preferably in the logistics field, is required.
• Some experience with customer service is preferred.
