About Us
Sound Bites is the Premium Seating Structure’s kitchen at Hayden Homes Amphitheater, supporting elevated food service for Cabanas and the Deschutes Deck. Our kitchen operates in a fast-paced live event environment where teamwork, cleanliness, and execution matter. Every role in the kitchen contributes directly to the guest experience, and Dishwasher and Prep Cook team members are a vital part of that success.
As a Sound Bites Dishwasher and Prep team member, you’ll wash and sanitize dishes in a three-compartment sink. You’ll also support general kitchen cleanliness, trash and recycling, and assist with food prep as directed.
This role is designed for people who want to learn how a professional kitchen operates. Team members who show initiative, reliability, and strong performance may have opportunities to learn additional stations and support line cooks as the season progresses. Success in this role comes from staying busy, working clean, and taking pride in supporting the rest of the kitchen.
Attitude matters here. We’re looking for people who show up ready to work, stay positive when things get busy, and understand that doing the behind-the-scenes work well is what makes the whole operation shine.

What to Expect Working Here
It is essential that all employees at Hayden Homes Amphitheater understand and agree to the environment in which we work. We are an outdoor, seasonal concert venue, and our team regularly works in a wide range of conditions including extreme heat and cold, rain, smoke, snow, wind, full sun, nighttime darkness, and the presence of wildlife such as insects and other animals. These elements are a normal part of our workplace. We provide a uniform, but employees are responsible for dressing appropriately for comfort and safety in all conditions.
While our workplace happens to host concerts, this role is a job first, and employees are expected to remain focused on their responsibilities and may have little opportunity to experience performances. If you strongly prefer indoor work environments or are primarily seeking access to shows, this role is not the right fit.
Employment with Hayden Homes Amphitheater is seasonal and concludes at the end of each concert season. Due to the dynamic nature of the live events industry, roles, schedules, pay, responsibilities, and supervisors may change from season to season and are not guaranteed upon venue reopening.
