At Steel City Pizza Company, we believe the most important people in a kitchen are the ones the team can count on without question.
If you take pride in being dependable and want to be part of a team that counts on you, we want to meet you.
If you show up on time, take responsibility for your work, and understand that consistency matters, you’re probably who we’re looking for. We can teach procedures and systems. We can’t teach reliability.
This role is for someone who understands that when the dish station runs smoothly, the entire restaurant runs better.
Who You Already Are
You take pride in being dependable. You do what you say you’re going to do, and you do it the right way — even when no one is watching.
You like knowing your work matters. You keep your area clean and organized, move with purpose, and understand that your pace affects everyone else.
You don’t wait to be asked to help. When something needs attention, you handle it.
What We Value
We value people we can rely on — people who take responsibility for their role and respect the team that depends on them.
Consistency and cleanliness are not optional. They are the foundation of great kitchens.
What You’ll Get
A steady, professional environment where your work matters. Leadership that respects reliability and effort. A team that notices and appreciates people who show up and do the job right.

What You’ll Do

Steel City Pizza Company was born in the ‘Burgh and raised in the South—a
mix of northern grit and Southern hospitality. We started as Giuseppi’s Pizza &
Pasta in Mt. Pleasant in 2005. We had a simple goal: bring that neighborhood
pizza-shop feel we grew up with down here to Charleston. In 2012 we opened
in N. Charleston and became Steel City Pizza Company. Our name honors
our roots and the people who inspired us: the ones who built America with
their hands, their hustle, and their heart. In 2019 we opened in Summerville,
carrying that same spirit forward.
Still locally owned, still built from scratch, and we’re not done yet—more
locations are on the horizon, and we’re just getting warmed up. We do things
the Steel City way—fresh dough made daily, big flavors, and a passion for
creating great experiences around delicious food. Because around here, we
don’t just make pizza—we build it.
