Job Description

The Kitchen Support role contributes to the overall daily kitchen operations. This role is a vital part of the kitchen team. They will play a key part in stewarding, stocking and organization to ensure efficiency.

Kitchen Support Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma

• Years of Related Experience: 1 year in professional food service operation

• Licenses/Certifications: Must be able to obtain ServSafe certification within the first 90 days.

Kitchen Support Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Works well in a fast-paced environment

• Detail oriented

• High energy, positive attitude

• General knowledge of kitchen operations and equipment

Kitchen Support Duties:

• Kitchen Operations Maintenance

• Responsible for ware-washing, assist with kitchen production and meals. Ensures all wares are polished and stored to meet our high standards.

• Consolidation and rotation of prepared food items daily

• Performs stewarding tasks such as receiving, stocking, and tracking inventory to meet established food safety standards

• Roll silverware, fold napkins, bus tables

• Ensures daily and weekly cleaning schedules are met

• Monitor and report equipment maintenance issues

• Food Prep

• Assist Chefs with food prep tasks as assigned

• Setup buffets, beverage service and snack stations, restocking and refreshing stations as needed

Compensation Grade Pay Range

$13.93 - $16.39
