Dishwasher-Holley Elementary School

Join our school community as a Dishwasher and play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for students and staff. We are seeking a dependable and reliable individual who works well with others and is committed to supporting our educational environment through excellent sanitation practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment in accordance with health and safety standards

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing areas

- Assist with general kitchen cleaning duties as needed

- Ensure timely and efficient dishwashing to support meal service schedules

- Follow all safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe working environment

Skills and Qualifications:

- Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic

- Ability to work well with others in a team setting

- Basic understanding of sanitation and safety procedures

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Prior experience in a kitchen or dishwashing role is a plus but not required

- Must be able to work flexible hours, including during school hours

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior food service or school cafeteria experience is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Strong team player who communicates respectfully and works well with coworkers, students, and school staff.
• Reliable and dependable, with consistent attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to support teammates and help wherever needed.
• Strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a commitment to excellent service.
• Ability to remain organized and productive in a fast-paced, noisy school cafeteria environment.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Must successfully pass all required background checks.
