COMPENSATION:

$18-$20 Hourly

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all dishware, cookware, and utensils throughout service.

• Operate dishwashing and cleaning equipment efficiently and safely.

• Assist with kitchen cleanliness, including sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and sanitization of work areas.

• Support chefs and cooks by ensuring all tools are cleaned, dried, and returned to the proper stations.

• Handle dishware and glassware carefully, following safety and sanitation standards.

• Maintain organization and stock of cleaning supplies and chemicals in accordance with safety regulations.

• Uphold the cleanliness and integrity of the kitchen — keeping Our House spotless and service-ready.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in a high-volume kitchen or restaurant preferred but not required.

• Strong work ethic and reliability with attention to cleanliness and detail.

• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain composure during peak hours.

• Maintain a valid Food Handler’s Certification in the state of New York
