Part time Dishwasher l 26 hours/2 weeks l Every Thursday from 4pm-9pm and Every other weekend 7:30am-4pm.

Ecumen Lakeshore is hiring a Dishwasher. The Ecumen Lakeshore community includes 100 independent living and 40 assisted living apartment homes, 20 additional residences for seniors requiring memory care services as well as short-term rehab and post-hospital care private rooms to care for up to 60 patients along the picturesque shore of Lake Superior in Duluth, Minnesota.

The targeted pay range for this job is $17.66 - $20.45 per hour.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

1. Washes dishes, glassware, flatware, pots/pans using dishwasher or by hand. Properly operates the 3-compartment sink.
2. Maintains kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean sanitized and orderly condition. Uses proper chemicals for all cleaning tasks. Uses proper PPE for chemical use.
3. Performs opening and closing side work including sweeping and scrubbing floors, cleaning dish storage area and surrounding areas.
4. Reports any sanitation or janitorial issues immediately to appropriate party.
5. Assists to prep cook and other kitchen staff as needed, especially during peak times.
6. Empties and cleans trash receptacles and places it in designated pickup areas.
7. Partners effectively with others in a demanding and changing environment, supports all team members within the community as directed by the leadership team.
8. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Must be 15 years of age or older
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written
• Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the facility including but not limited to: Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy, HIPAA, Resident’s Bill of Rights, Universal Precaution, AWAIR, OSHA, Right to know, SDS, ADA, HUD Policy and Procedures, Fair Housing laws and regulations

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Dishwashing/Commercial kitchen experience
• Previous experience working with seniors
