Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Assist with preliminary investigations and fact-finding on student incidents
• 
  Conduct interviews with students, staff, and witnesses; review CCTV where required
• 
  Collect statements and prepare structured incident reports for school leaders
• 
  Support follow-up actions and communicate approved outcomes to students
• 
  Conduct restorative and reflection sessions with students involved in discipline cases
• 
  Supervise detention, recess, and event suspension sessions
• 
  Ensure discipline rules are followed during detention periods
• 
  Maintain attendance and behavioural records for all sessions
• 
  Monitor student behaviour during recess and after-school hours
• 
  Patrol school premises (play areas, side gates) to ensure safety and order
• 
  Support any additional student management or administrative duties as assigned

Requirements (including reporting):

• 
  Minimum GCE 'O' Level or equivalent
• 
  Reports operationally to the Student Management Committee; deployment follows school term timetable and events
• 
  Experience in student discipline, case handling, or behavioural support preferred
• 
  Background in counselling, social work, or restorative practices is an advantage
• 
  Strong observation, documentation, and reporting skills
• 
  Calm, professional, and able to manage challenging behaviour appropriately
• 
  Able to exercise discretion, sound judgement, and confidentiality
• 
  Comfortable working in a primary school environment

Duration/Working hours:

5 months contract (Jul 2026 to Nov 2026)

o Mondays to Fridays: 9:00am to 3:30pm, exclusive of lunch

break. Start and end time may be adjusted depending on
school needs.
o Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays, gazetted public
holidays and school holidays (e.g. Youth Day)
o The school reserves the right to change or cancel sessions due
to school events, emergencies, or other unforeseen
circumstances.
