Job Description

Disability Youth Support Workers | Morphett Vale, SA

We are currently seeking compassionate and reliable Disability Support Workers to provide support to a female participant in Morphett Vale, South Australia.

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum Certificate III in relevant Disability or Community Service field
  • Experience supporting youth and/or individuals with complex behaviours (highly preferred)
  • Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check
  • Current First Aid & CPR
  • Reliable transport and a valid South Australian driver’s licence
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Must be available for a variety of shifts, including passive (sleepover) shifts

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing emotional, social, and practical support to young people
  • Assisting with daily living skills and routines
  • Supporting education and community engagement
  • Implementing behaviour support strategies and care plans
  • Maintaining accurate case notes and documentation
  • Calm, patient, and resilient approach
  • Ability to manage challenging situations professionally
