We’re currently seeking Disability Support Workers who are passionate about making a real difference. In this role, you’ll contribute to meaningful work that uplifts individuals and strengthens families across our community.

About you:

  • Minimum nationally accredited completion of Certificate III in relevant Disability or Community Service field
  • Minimum 2 years consistent work experience in Community Services (Disability, Aged Care, Mental Health, Nursing)
  • Prior experience supporting clients with Trauma, Autism, Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder and Reactive Attachment Disorder, ADHD is beneficial
  • Mental health background is highly preferred

Essential Background:

  • Child & Youth Work
  • Mental Health & Crisis Management (i.e. drug and alcohol addiction)
  • Trauma-Informed Disability Support

Key Traits and Skills:

  • Calm and assertive in high-stress environments
  • Experienced in de-escalating aggressive and sexualized behaviors
  • Able to mentor youth with attachment issues and trauma
  • Committed to clear boundaries, respectful communication, and safety
  • Physically fit and mentally resilient

Requirements:

  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Employee Working with Children Check
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Australian driver’s license with a reliable and comprehensively insured car
  • Willingness to obtain a new National Police Check
