About the role
We are currently hiring for our team of Disability Support Workers to support our Penrith area We want to provide a safe & loving environment and trauma-informed care. Ideally, we are looking for someone with a background in supporting youth and adults.
The key responsibilities of a Disability Support Worker include supporting the young person in the 5 following pillars of care:
Most importantly, you will act as a role model to demonstrate positive attributes that allow young people to learn and feel safe which will in turn encourage aspirations for the future, build resilience and reduce vulnerability.
