Casual Disability Support Workers

Sale, VIC

Disability Connect Victoria (DCV) is looking for reliable and caring Disability Support Workers to join our team in Sale. These are casual roles supporting people to access their community and build independence.

About the Programs

We currently have two community-based programs available:

Program 1

Monday, Wednesday, Friday

3.30 pm – 5.30 pm

Program 2

Tuesday and Wednesday

10.00 am – 2.00 pm

These shifts suit workers looking for consistent hours alongside other commitments.

Additional hours available over school holidays

The Role

You will support participants with:

  • Community access and social participation
  • Transport to and from activities (any registered car is suitable)
  • Implementing behaviour support strategies under guidance

What You’ll Need

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or similar
  • At least 6 months experience in a similar role
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Employee Working with Children Check
  • Driver’s licence and access to a registered, insured vehicle
  • First Aid and CPR (preferred)

Disability Connect Victoria is a registered NDIS, TAC & WorkSafe provider. We proudly provide support to those living with any type of disability or mental health condition across Southern Metro Melbourne, Eastern Metro Melbourne and all of Gippsland.

If you are the recipient of NDIS, TAC or WorkSafe funding - we can help get you the support you need. Our experienced support coordinators are well versed in local services to interlink with, ensuring you receive the right care, at the right time and in the right environment.

In the near future, DCV will be offering overnight Respite services as well as facility based independent living skills programs. These programs will launch alongside our latest social and community access programs later this year.
