Disability Support Worker, Nelson (Whakatū)

1) Support Worker - Nelson area - Full Time/Part Time

  • Must be able to work at least one weekend shift

  • Must be able to complete personal cares in a high & complexed needs environment

2) Part Time Position based in Motueka (18 hours per week)

  • Sunday, Tuesday & Thursday – 11.00am to 5.00pm

  • Must be able to complete personal cares in a high & complexed needs environment

We’re on the lookout for a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to join our Team in Motueka. You’ll be working alongside people with complex needs and supporting them to live the life they choose at home and in the community.

- A calm, caring individual with a positive outlook

- Experience delivering personal care with dignity and respect

- A great communicator who can think on their feet and be adaptable

- An understanding of the Enabling Good Lives principles (or a willingness to learn)

What you will bring | Ngā tohunga mō tēnei tūranga

  • Hold a current First Aid Certificate (or be willing to complete one at our cost)

  • Hold a full current NZ Driver License (Essential)

  • Be eligible to work in New Zealand

  • Have a valid work visa with a minimum of 12 months until expiry

  • NOTE: No AEWV Job tokens for this region
