Position: Disability Support Worker

Location: Holland Park, QLD

Employment Type: Casual (with sleepover shifts)

We are currently seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to join our team in Holland Park. This is a rewarding opportunity to play a meaningful role in assisting clients to develop essential life skills, access community services, and achieve their personal goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized support plans tailored to client needs.

Support clients with daily living skills, community participation, employment, or education goals.

Provide mental health and emotional support, encouraging independence and resilience.

Assist with personal care, transport, and social outings.

Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with care plans (e.g., meal time and manual handling).

What We’re Looking For:

Qualifications: Certificate III in Disability (or equivalent experience).

Experience: Background in disability and/or aged care, with strong mental health support experience.

Client Knowledge: Comfortable supporting clients with complex needs, including verbal aggression and behavioral challenges.

Shift Flexibility: Ability to work varied shifts, especially 3 PM – 7 AM sleepovers, and support multiple clients (2–3) if required.

Mandatory Requirements:

Working With Children Check

NDIS Worker Screening Check

National Police Check (via Rapid Screening)

Australian Driver’s License (no international licenses)

Comprehensive car insurance and vehicle registration

First Aid & CPR certification

Proof of work rights in Australia

Relevant educational certificates
