Disability Support Worker – Sale, Bairnsdale and Lakes Entrance

At DCV, we’re focused on providing respectful, person-centred support to people with disability across Gippsland. We’re now expanding our team in Lakes Entrance and looking for support workers who share our commitment to quality care.

About the role

Multiple Casual positions available in Lakes Entrance, with the opportunity to move to a permanent position in the future.

You’ll be supporting four clients living in our SDA property, with shifts available across all day parts.

Your work will include:

  • Personal care
  • Community access
  • Daily living support
  • Medication assistance
  • Meal preparation
  • Domestic duties

What you need

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (preferred)
  • If you don’t hold the Certificate, 6+ months of experience in a similar role is required
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working With Children Check
  • A driver’s licence and access to a registered and insured vehicle.

Disability Connect Victoria is a registered NDIS, TAC & WorkSafe provider. We proudly provide support to those living with any type of disability or mental health condition across Southern Metro Melbourne, Eastern Metro Melbourne and all of Gippsland.

If you are the recipient of NDIS, TAC or WorkSafe funding - we can help get you the support you need. Our experienced support coordinators are well versed in local services to interlink with, ensuring you receive the right care, at the right time and in the right environment.

In the near future, DCV will be offering overnight Respite services as well as facility based independent living skills programs. These programs will launch alongside our latest social and community access programs later this year.
