About cape
cape group (cape) is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee providing services to people with a disability and is a Registered NDIS Provider.
Nadrasca joined with Brite in April 2025 to form cape group, a newly formed brand resulting from the merger of the two NDIS registered providers with a combined 120 years in operation across the eastern and northern suburbs.
Together, we provide a range of services for people with disability, including home and living supports, social and community participation activities, youth employment assistance, supported
employment, and NDIS support coordination.

The Position
The Disability Support Worker – cape Café is responsible for providing hands-on support to participants in a café and canteen environment, helping them develop practical hospitality skills such as food preparation, customer service, and barista tasks. The role involves guiding participants toward vocational goals, delivering structured training, mentoring, and fostering independence while ensuring person-centered practice and positive behaviour support. Key duties include maintaining compliance with food safety and OH&S standards, monitoring progress, reporting, and
supporting community engagement.

What we can offer you:

Screening Clearance and obtain a Working with Children Check prior to

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.
With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.
We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.
