Disability Support Worker – Bringelly, NSW (URGENT - Casual)

Are you an experienced Disability Support Worker ready to make a real difference?

Connecting Families is seeking a compassionate, skilled worker to provide 2:1 support to

an 18-year-old female client in Bringelly, NSW with complex behavioural and mental

health needs.

About the Role

• Casual position

• Support includes daily living tasks, community access, emotional support, and

managing challenging behaviours.

• Client diagnoses: Autism Spectrum Disorder (Level 2), ADHD, ODD, PTSD, Anxiety

• Behavioural challenges: absconding, physical and verbal aggression, self-harm,

intimidation, property damage, non-compliance

Applicants must be comfortable working in a high-risk environment and managing

complex behaviours.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with youth with mental health or behavioural needs

• Ability to manage complex behaviours safely

• Patience, empathy, resilience, and strong rapport-building skills

• Flexible and adaptable to meet unpredictable client needs

Requirements

• Certificate III in Community Services or equivalent

• NDIS Worker Screening Check & WWCC

• First Aid (HLTAID011) & CPR (HLTAID009)

• Valid driver’s license & reliable vehicle

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in disability support
