Not your average job!
We are looking for an exceptional local person to join an inspiring client to provide essential, in-home personal and community disability support.
Six reasons this job will make you curious:
Five qualities you already have
Three things you are looking for
One thing we are looking for
The role:
You’ll be providing personal care, helping around the home, enjoying preparing and sharing meals together and occasional outings. There will be paid orientation and shadow shifts to make your start as smooth as possible. We also need a relief disability worker. Same person and team but doing varied shifts to cover team members needing to take leave.
Successful applicant
First, we want the right person – see above! We’ll start by calling you for a chat. Then we’ll organise a meet & greet with our person with disability and a few of the team. If everyone is happy to progress, we’ll set you up as an employee, provide orientation and two paid shadow shifts. You will need to provide us some essentials – but note the asterisks!
* If you feel this job really fits you but don’t have current First Aid, CPR, NDIS Workers Screen, or Manual Handling – we’ll help you get them!
How to Apply
We’d love to talk with you! Please attach a covering letter including a brief work history (when, where and what you’ve done professionally), where you are located, why you’re interested in the role, and your contact details.
