We’re urgently seeking Disability Support Workers to provide dedicated support to a client with Alzheimer’s in Aspley, QLD.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement personalized support plans to meet individual client needs.
  • Provide assistance with daily living skills, community engagement, and education/employment support.
  • Offer mental health support and guide clients toward greater self-sufficiency.
  • Assist with social activities, transport, personal care, and other needs as required.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and case notes to ensure quality service delivery.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualifications: Certificate III/IV in Disability or a related field
  • Experience: Background in disability support, with experience in dementia, Alzheimer’s, aged care, incontinence, and personal hygiene care
  • Skills: Ability to operate a 4-wheel walker and occasionally a wheelchair to assist clients
  • Flexibility: Availability to work all shifts, including mornings, afternoons, nights, and sleepovers
