About Strive
Founded in 1996, Strive Together WA is a not-for-profit, for-purpose NDIS provider supporting people with disability, their families and carers across the Perth metropolitan region. We deliver person-centred services including Supported Independent Living (SIL), farmstay respite and individualised supports that promote independence, connection and wellbeing.
Strive also operates Landsdale Farm in Darch, a unique integrated community space that reflects our values of inclusion, learning and connection.
About the opportunity
We are currently seeking Disability Support Workers for permanent part-time and casual opportunities across Morley, Landsdale, Canning Vale and surrounding suburbs.
Current roster needs include regular, ongoing shifts on Mondays and Fridays We also have casual weekend shifts available for candidates seeking greater roster flexibility.
The available supports include community access, public transport training, social participation, health and fitness activities, daily living support, personal care, medication support and documentation. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience supporting participants with non-verbal communication, behaviours of concern, mealtime management and complex support needs.
Experience in disability support is highly regarded, but we are also open to candidates who bring the right values, relevant training and a genuine willingness to learn.

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.
We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.
With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.
We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.

Our campus partners, the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute (MCRI) and The University of Melbourne Department of Paediatrics, along with the RCH Foundation, are on site with the hospital in Parkville. In 2016–17, more than 85,654 children attended our Emergency Department, 322,291 specialist clinic appointments were held which was almost 70,000 more than the previous year, more than 17,000 surgeries were performed and more than 48,552 children were admitted to our wards.
