Disability Support Worker – Melton
Do you have experience with Peg Feeding?
Cohort Staffing is looking for an energetic and motivated Disability Support Worker to support a participant in the Melton area who have experience working with younger participants and have experience with Peg Feeding
The participant has a preference for a female support worker, and we are therefore inviting applications from female-identifying support workers who meet the requirements outlined below
Shift Availability:
4pm - 6pm Tues and Thursday
Every second Saturday for an 8-hour shift
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a Female Disability Support Worker to join our team in Melton. You will be providing personal care and assisting with daily living tasks for individuals with disabilities. The successful candidate must be confident in performing PEG feeding and possess a strong understanding of person-centred care practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality personal care to clients
- Assist with PEG feeding and other medical needs as required
- Support with daily activities and community access
- Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times
Key Requirements:
- Female (as per the client's request)
- Proven experience with PEG feeding
- Cert III or Cert IV in Disability (or equivalent)
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Reliable, punctual, and compassionate attitude
