Disability Support Worker

What we are looking for:

ITEC is looking for committed staff who can show their adaptability, resilience and an ability to problem solve. Being a support worker can be both challenging and rewarding, with this in mind we are seeking people who have a passion for helping others. We are seeking team members who can take lead from the participant and care coordinators to implement NDIS funding in a way that our participants choose.

Qualities we value in perspective employees:

• Available to work at least 20+ hours per week, including a mix of weekdays and weekends, short shifts, sleepovers and active nights.
• Have completed Certificate III in Individual Support or Similar

Mandatory Certifications/Clearances:

• Current NDIS Worker Clearance & Working with Children Check.
• Completed NDIS New Worker Induction and New worker Orientation Modules.
• Hold current HLTAID011 First Aid Certificate and HLTAID009 CPR Certification.
• Hold current AU open Drivers Licence and have your own insured vehicle.
• Rights to work in Australia (Citizen or permanent resident).
