We are looking for passionate, empathetic Support Workers with a can-do attitude and positive growth mindset to join our vibrant team at Cerebral Palsy Alliance (CPA) team. Opportunities exist on a Casual basis and in PPT roles supporting our SIL houses. There are morning, day, evening, and night shifts available - it will depend of what you are looking for, your availability, and the flexibility you need - apply now.
About the role
Support adults living in CPA group homes to lead rich, independent and empowered lives. Your day-to-day may include:
Providing respectful support with personal care, mealtimes, medication, and daily routines
Encouraging skill-building, independence, and decision-making
Supporting community engagement, social connection and transport (including use of CPA vans)
Following person-centred plans with empathy and professionalism
What You’ll Bring
A passion for empowering people with disability
A can-do attitude and growth mindset — you’re open to learning and ready to make a difference
NSW Driver’s Licence (P2 or above)
Physical capability to support clients with mobility or transfers
Availability for a minimum of 3 full days per week (15–20+ hours)
The ability to travel to our multiple locations across the Newcastle region

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.
We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.
With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.
We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.
