Disability Support Workers – Make a Real Difference

About the Role:
Join us as a Disability Support Worker in our welcoming group home located in Pennant Hills. You will provide compassionate, person-centered support across a variety of shifts including mornings, afternoons, and evening shifts. Our 24/7 operation ensures our clients receive consistent, quality care in a safe and supportive environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support clients to live fulfilling lives by assisting with daily tasks, community involvement, and skill development

  • Encourage and empower clients to make their own decisions and pursue their personal goals

  • Work collaboratively with a dedicated team to provide high-quality care and support

  • Maintain a safe, respectful, and positive home environment

Requirements

  • Available for a minimum of 4 weekdays, 20-30 hours, over a variety of shifts

  • Previous experience working in the disability sector required.

  • A current NSW Driver's License (P2 minimum)

  • Experience with clients that have strong behaviours of concern

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.

With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.

We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.

Our campus partners, the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute (MCRI) and The University of Melbourne Department of Paediatrics, along with the RCH Foundation, are on site with the hospital in Parkville.
