POSITION EXPECTATIONS
Position Expectations
​​​​​​​​To assist the Mission Services Department by coordinating the activities of the Community Based Training (CBT) program and the Skills to Enable Personal Success (STEPS) program. This position also conducts all intakes for the CBT and STEPS programs as well as helps the Director of Disability and Volunteer Programs with the day-to-day administrative duties for the CBT and STEPS programs. The Disability Program Coordinator also assists Mission Services in meeting the annual goals and meeting CARF (Commission on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) and all other GII (Goodwill Industries International) Certification Standards and expectations. ​
Responsibilities
- ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Conducts intakes for all youth and adult clients referred by the Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation (BVR) for participation in Goodwill’s various CBT and STEPS Programs. Schedules weekly client intakes, completes all CBT and STEPS Intake-related paperwork accurately and on time, collaborates with the finance department on billing-related inquiries (authorizations), meets a set weekly intake goal, and communicates with management as needed.  
- ​Assists with quarterly quality case file reviews to ensure that all CBT and STEPS case files are properly maintained in accordance with GII’s standards for Certification and CARF Accreditation in collaboration with the Director of Disability and Volunteer Programming.
- ​Serves as the backup for the Director of Disability and Volunteer Programming as needed and/or directed.  
- ​Oversees weekly payroll preparation for all CBT and STEPS Clients.  
- ​Maintains the collection of new referrals, statistical, and billing data on Excel spreadsheets or case management databases (Salesforce) for all clients receiving services.  
- ​Assists with tracking and evaluation projects (i.e., submits weekly/monthly reports to management, collects data for periodic institutional reviews, etc.). 
- Assists in any other projects or tasks as determined by management. 

Qualifications
Education, Experience, and Requirements
- ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​High school/ GED completion or an associate’s degree in any related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative support and case management experience.
- Minimum of a year of experience working with individuals with disabilities.
- Ability to connect with people from a wide variety of cultural and ethnic backgrounds and lifestyles.
- Must have the ability to work with diverse groups of individuals.
- ​​​Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite software, including a strong emphasis on Word, Excel, and Outlook.    
- ​​Must possess strong interpersonal skills with excellent communication skills. 
- ​​Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. 
- ​​Exhibits a high level of integrity and business ethics. 
- ​​Exhibits a high level of adaptability and flexibility. 
Environmental Factors
- Majority of duties performed in an office environment with regulated temperatures.
Physical Factors
- Able to lift, carry, push, and pull a minimum of 25 pounds.
Prolonged standing, walking, reaching, stooping, lifting, pulling, carrying, sitting at a desk, and working on a computer.
