📍 Location & Work Model
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based out of our Edmonton Head Office or Calgary branch, with a hybrid schedule (3 days/week in-office)
🔍 What You’ll Do
Manage a complex portfolio of disability cases (STD, LTD, WCB, accommodations, and more)
Lead return-to-work planning and resolution conversations
Provide expert guidance on Duty to Accommodate, legislation, and best practices
Partner with HR, leaders, and external providers to drive outcomes
Influence decisions in sensitive, high-impact situations
Identify opportunities to improve processes and programs
✅ What You Bring
7+ years of disability management experience
Strong knowledge of legislation, case management, and accommodations
Experience in a unionized environment
Exceptional communication, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage complexity with confidence, discretion, and sound judgment
⭐ Bonus If You Have
Experience with WCB, STD/LTD programs, and external providers
Experience managing complex employee health and wellness situations
Exposure to sensitive and multifaceted disability cases
Experience supporting employees through complex health-related leaves
Familiarity with managing a broad range of disability case types
Knowledge of substance-use-related cases
A passion for process improvement and program development
