What’s the role?
This is a full time role based in Melbourne Naarm within Westpac Private Wealth’s Global Investment Services team.
As an Investment Director, you’ll support self-directed high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients by delivering investment insight across multiple asset classes and currencies. You’ll partner closely with our Private Banking teams and engage directly with clients, helping them navigate markets and investment opportunities under a General Advice framework.
You’ll be known for your ability to bring market insight to life and translate complex investment themes into meaningful conversations. Beyond client engagement, you’ll contribute to the growth of Global Investment Services by supporting regional performance, leading strategic initiatives and building strong internal engagement with our investment offering.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys deep market discussion, values strong relationships and wants to make a meaningful impact on client experience.
What do I need?
• Experience in financial markets, funds management, wealth management or investment market sales
• Background working with high net worth or ultra-high net worth clients
• Strong understanding of multi asset and multi-currency investment strategies
• Knowledge of compliance and risk management in a regulated environment
• Mandarin language skills are highly desirable
