This is a great opportunity to join a family-oriented company that treats employees equally and invests meaningfully in their professional growth. Significant support and development will be provided across all areas of U.S. taxation and accounting, with clear opportunities to progress into more senior and rewarding responsibilities over time. As the PH accounting team continues to expand, you will also have the unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact and help shape the future direction of the team.

Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role:

The Director, US Tax & Accounting (title subject to discussion during calibration) will be responsible for preparing and reviewing standard US tax returns, including individual (1040), partnership (1065), S-Corporation (1120-S), and C-Corporation (1120) returns. The ideal candidate is a developing US tax professional with a solid technical foundation who is ready to take on greater responsibility and grow into a leadership role. • Manages professional accounting and bookkeeping services for business owners.
  • Manages financial records, transactions, entries, payments and reporting primarily using QuickBooks.

  • Manages client relationships and support staff.
  • Acts as a trusted year-round advisor to clients, providing tax compliance guidance and advisory support beyond the annual tax season.

  • Advises business owners on tax compliance, financial records and other matters as needed.
